Quality

Quality is a sequence of checks, not a claim.

From field selection to cold-chain handover, each stage has a defined check and a record.

Our approach

The buyer's specification comes first.

Our quality approach is built around the buyer's specification. We confirm what good looks like before packing begins, then check against that standard at the agreed points. Where a requirement cannot be verified, we say so before the order is placed.

Standards

Six control points.

Each point is part of the programme, not an optional extra.

Field selection

Fruit is sourced with attention to variety, maturity and condition. Harvest timing is aligned with the shipment window.

Grading

Finger length, shape, colour index and defects are checked against the agreed specification.

Packing integrity

Carton weight, count, labelling and pallet configuration are verified before loading.

Cold chain

Temperature, ventilation and handling are managed from packing to the reefer container.

Phytosanitary compliance

Documents are prepared for the destination market and checked with the buyer's import requirements.

Traceability

Batch records connect the packed fruit to sourcing and inspection information.

Inspection

Checks before the container closes.

The exact inspection plan is agreed per programme. These are the usual checkpoints.

01

Pre-harvest assessment

Maturity, condition and volume are reviewed before the harvest window opens.

02

Receiving & grading check

Fruit is inspected against the agreed specification and defects are recorded.

03

Packing & label verification

Carton weight, count, labels and pallet plan are checked before loading.

04

Cold-chain check

Temperature and reefer settings are verified and documented.

05

Document review

The document pack is checked against the destination requirements before handover.

Certification and audit documents

We do not display certification marks until they are verified and current. Buyers receive our available registration, certification and audit documents during supplier qualification, and we confirm the exact scope in writing.

Certification status is confirmed per programme. Ask for the current document pack.

Packing standards

Packing protects the fruit and the information attached to it. Both matter at import inspection.

  • Export-grade cartons suited to the programme
  • Buyer-approved labels and carton markings
  • Pallet or floor-load plan confirmed before booking
  • Temperature logger where agreed with the buyer
