Sourcing & harvest plan
We confirm the product, volume window and destination requirements, then align harvest with the shipment schedule.
Export process
What happens between an Angolan farm and your receiving port — and what we need from you at each stage.

Step by step
The sequence below is the working framework for a typical programme. Timing and documentation are confirmed per shipment.
We confirm the product, volume window and destination requirements, then align harvest with the shipment schedule.
Fruit is inspected, graded and packed to the agreed specification. Carton weight, labelling and pallet configuration are checked before loading.
Packed fruit moves into the cold chain within the agreed temperature range. Loading is coordinated with the reefer container and carrier schedule.
Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate and transport documents are prepared and checked.
Shipments move via Angolan ports or Luanda airport, depending on volume, shelf-life and destination.
We stay available for document follow-up and programme reviews after arrival, so the next shipment starts with better information.
Documentation
Requirements vary by destination. We confirm the document pack with the buyer and their import agent before shipment.
The exact document set is confirmed in the sales contract and with the buyer's import agent.

JMSA Banana
From Angola to the world.
Commercial framework
No two programmes are identical. These are the commercial topics we confirm before a shipment is booked.
Luanda, Lobito and Namibe, subject to programme and carrier schedules.
FOB, CIF, CFR and DAP can be discussed. The final term is confirmed in the sales contract.
Payment terms are agreed per programme. Letters of credit and bank transfers can be discussed.
Lead time depends on volume, packing format and vessel schedule. Confirmed at order stage.
Programme volumes are agreed by season. Current availability is confirmed on enquiry.
Bananas are held within the agreed temperature range, typically 13–14°C, with humidity and ventilation managed in transit.

Bananas are living fruit. Temperature, ventilation and handling affect arrival condition as much as grading does. Our loading checks are designed to catch problems before the container leaves the port.
